The Morning Glory is located on the southeast corner of Main and Bridge Streets at 912 Main Street in Greenport, New York. The Inn's driveway is immediately adjacent to Bridge Street. Visit us by car, train, ferry, boat or bus.

Directions by car:

Coming from the west: Via the Long Island Expressway (495), take Exit 71 north toward Calverton on Edwards Avenue for 4.5 miles to Sound Avenue (Rte. 48) Turn east (right) on Sound Avenue. Travel 28 miles east to flashing yellow light at the main 3-way intersection of Main St. Turn south (right.) The third street on the left is Bridge Street.

An alternate route from the west: Exit 73 off of the Long Island Expressway. Proceed east on Route 58 to Route 25. Travel 25 miles east on Rte 25 (also called Main Road) to Greenport where it becomes Front Street. Continue on Front Street to the flashing red light at the intersection of Main and Front Streets. Turn north (left) on Main Street and travel 0.6 miles north to Bridge Street.

Coming from Port Jefferson/Bridgeport Ferry: From the ferry, drive south on Main Street through Port Jefferson approximately 2 miles to Route 347/25A. Turn left (east). This is the road you take all the way to Greenport (about 45 miles or 1.5 hours). The route signs will be 25A, 25 Truck, 48 or Sound Avenue. After traveling approximately 45 miles, signs will indicate your approach to Greenport and at the flashing yellow light, turn right (south) onto Main Street. The third street on the left is Bridge Street.

Coming west from Orient Point/New London ferry: Travel 8 miles west on Route 25 to yellow flashing light at the intersection of Sound Avenue and Main Street, Turn south (left) toward Greenport. The third street on the left is Bridge Street.

Coming north from the South Fork: From Route 27 (Montauk Highway), head north on Route 114 to the Shelter Island ferry. After crossing to Shelter Island on the south ferry, cross Shelter Island on Rte 114 to the north ferry to Greenport. Once in Greenport, head east on Front Street to the flashing red light at the intersection of Main and Front Streets. Turn north (left) on Main Street and travel 0.6 miles north to Bridge Street.
